Founder and Managing Director Zak de Mariveles has over 25 years of experience in the structured products industry, holding senior leadership roles at major investment banks, including Barclays Capital, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Société Générale. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the UK structured product market, bridging the gap between financial institutions, regulators, and the broader investment community.

As the Founder and Chairman of the UK Structured Products Association (UKSPA) since 2010, Zak has provided a unified industry voice, collaborating closely with regulators, trade bodies, and financial advisers to develop best practices, enhance transparency, and support investor education.

In addition to his experience with major investment banks, Zak was Owner and CEO of Dura Capital, a leading UK structured product distributor. His leadership at Dura Capital further cemented his expertise across both the manufacturing and distribution sides of the industry, providing first-hand experience in bringing structured products to market and engaging directly with advisers and investors.

Zak began his career in stockbroking before transitioning into financial technology and e-commerce strategy at Barclays Capital. He later specialized in the retail distribution of structured products, taking on key leadership roles at RBS and Société Générale, where he oversaw significant market expansion.

Today, alongside his continued leadership at UKSPA, Zak advises financial institutions on structured product strategy, distribution, and regulatory compliance. His expertise and commitment to industry development make him a leading voice in structured products and investor protection.
